Along Travel(이하 "회사")은 「개인정보 보호법」 등 관련 법령에 따라 이용자의 개인정보를 보호하고, 관련 고충을 신속하게 처리하기 위해 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리방침을 공개합니다. 이 방침은 Along 앱(iOS)과 웹(alongtravel.app)에 적용됩니다.

보유 기간이 지나거나 처리 목적을 이루면 지체 없이 파기합니다. 전자 파일은 복구할 수 없도록 데이터베이스 문서·저장소 파일·로그인 계정을 삭제합니다. 계정 삭제 시에는 다음을 함께 지웁니다: 프로필과 아이디, 게시물과 사진, 다른 사람 글에 남긴 댓글·답글, 좋아요·팔로우 기록, 장소 평가, 일정과 같이 편집 참여 기록, 다른 사람에게 보낸 알림, 신고 기록, 로그인 계정.
다른 이용자가 이용자의 공개 일정을 자기 일정으로 복사한 경우, 그 복사본은 복사한 이용자의 콘텐츠로 남습니다.
회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 다만 법령에 특별한 규정이 있거나 수사기관이 법령에 정한 절차에 따라 요구하는 경우는 예외로 합니다.
이용자가 공개한 게시물, 공개 일정, 프로필(아이디·표시 이름·사진), 댓글, 장소 평가는 다른 이용자에게 보입니다. 공개 일정은 공유 링크를 받은 비회원도 볼 수 있습니다.
회사는 서비스 제공을 위해 다음 업체에 개인정보 처리를 위탁하며, 이 과정에서 개인정보가 국외로 이전됩니다. 이전은 이용자가 서비스를 이용할 때 암호화된 네트워크로 수시로 이루어지며, 보유 기간은 회원 탈퇴 또는 위탁 계약 종료 시까지입니다(아래에 따로 적은 경우 제외).

앱은 지도와 주소 검색을 위해 다음 외부 서비스에 기기에서 직접 연결합니다. 이때 IP 주소와 보고 있는 지도 영역 또는 검색어·좌표가 전달됩니다: CARTO(지도 이미지), OpenStreetMap Foundation(Nominatim 주소 검색).
국외 이전을 원하지 않는 경우: 위 이전은 서비스 제공에 꼭 필요하므로, 거부하려면 서비스 이용을 멈추고 계정을 삭제해야 합니다. 번역은 '번역 보기'를 누르지 않으면 Anthropic으로 전송되지 않습니다.
회사는 「위치정보의 보호 및 이용 등에 관한 법률」에 따라 개인위치정보를 처리합니다.

이 방침을 바꿀 때는 시행 7일 전부터 앱 안 공지와 이 페이지로 알립니다. 수집 항목 추가 등 이용자 권리에 중요한 변경은 30일 전에 알리고, 필요하면 동의를 다시 받습니다.

Along Travel ("we", "us") explains here what personal information we process when you use the Along app (iOS) and website (alongtravel.app), why, and what choices you have. If the Korean version and this English version differ, the Korean version prevails for users in Korea.
To sign you in and prevent abuse; to provide the feed, map, shared routes and itineraries (including co-editing), search, notifications and translation; to verify that reviewers visited a place; to handle reports, blocks and Terms violations; to process donations and show supporter badges; to fix crashes and improve the service; and to answer support requests.
Deleting your account removes your profile and username, posts and photos, comments and replies on other people's posts, likes and follows, place reviews, itineraries and co-editing memberships, notifications you sent to others, reports you filed, and your sign-in account. If another user copied one of your public itineraries into their own, that copy remains theirs.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law. Content you make public — posts, public itineraries, your profile (username, display name, photo), comments and reviews — is visible to other users, and public itineraries can be opened by anyone with the share link.
We use these providers to run the service, and your information is transferred to them over encrypted connections while you use the service:
For maps and address search, the app connects directly to CARTO (map images) and the OpenStreetMap Foundation's Nominatim (address search), which receive your IP address and the map area or search terms.
The app includes Google's Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics, linked to your account identifier. The website stores your sign-in state and settings in browser storage. We do not use advertising cookies or targeted advertising. Hotel partner banners (such as Trip.com) open the partner's site only when you tap them; that site's policy then applies. To opt out on the web, block site data in your browser settings. An in-app switch to turn off usage analytics is coming in the next update; until then, email support@alongtravel.app and we will delete the usage analytics linked to your account.
You can access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your information, and withdraw consent, at any time. You can edit your profile, delete posts, comments and reviews, and delete your account in the app (Profile → menu at top right → Delete account), or email us at support@alongtravel.app; we respond within 10 days. You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
Along Travel is the controller of your personal data. We process it to perform our contract with you (providing the service), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, crash analysis and service improvement), and with your consent where required (device location and push notifications, which you can turn off in your device settings). You also have the right to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Transfers to Korea rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision; transfers to the United States rely on our providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest, database access rules that let you change only your own data, app integrity checks, server-side validation, restricted administrator access, and removal of location metadata from uploaded photos.
Along is not for children under 14. If we learn that a child under 14 has created an account, we delete it.
We announce changes in the app and on this page at least 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for significant changes, and ask for consent again where required.
